Artysta aktualnie pracuje jako wykładowca na Wydziale Sztuki Uniwersytetu Opolskiego. Jest absolwentem Instytutu Sztuki UO w Opolu, gdzie w 2005 r. uzyskał dyplom z wyróżnieniem. W 2018 r uzyskał natomiast stopień doktora na ASP we Wrocławiu. W swoich pracach rzeźbiarskich wykorzystuje różnorodne materiały, kamień, twarde gatunki drewna, metal, oraz przedmioty znalezione. Jego prace zapraszają do rozszyfrowywania rozbudowanej symbolicznej warstwy i wieloznacznych metafor.  Poruszają kwestię złożoności ludzkiej natury. Wzajemne kontrasty materiałów i struktur są cechą charakterystyczną jego multimateriałowych rzeźb. Jego prace znajdują się w kolekcji opolskiej  „Zachęty” oraz w zbiorach prywatnych w Polsce, Niemczech, Holandii, Anglii, Kazachstanie i USA. Jest autorem statuetek „Mecenas Galerii Sztuki Współczesnej”, „Mecenas Sztuki Dziecięcej”, „Most Dialogu” oraz „Opolskie Lamy” Ogólnopolskiego Festiwalu Filmów Niezależnych.

The artist currently works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Art of the University of Opole. He is a graduate of the Institute of Art. of the University of Opole, where he received a diploma with distinction in 2005. In 2018, he obtained a doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. In his sculptural works, he uses various materials, stone, hardwood, metal, and found objects. His works invite you to decipher the extensive symbolic layer and ambiguous metaphors. They raise the issue of the complexity of human nature. The mutual contrasts of materials and structures area characteristic feature of his multi-material sculptures. His works can be found in the collection of the Opole „Zachęta” and in private collections in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Kazakhstan and the USA. He is the author of the statuettes „Patron of the Gallery of Contemporary Art”, „Patron of Children’s Art”, „Bridge of Dialogue” and „Opolskie Lamy” of the National Independent Film Festival

Dzieło odnosi się do przepływu czasu. Porusza kwestię niemożności powrotu do pewnych rzeczy i sytuacji, których nie da się odtworzyć, powtórzyć, czy przywrócić. Rzeźba przedstawia ażurową, spawaną ze stali rybę łączącą inspiracje naturą, jak i techniką. Swoją formą nawiązuje do konstrukcji lotniczych, jak i łodzi podwodnych. W rzeźbie doszukać się można  rozbudowanej symbolicznej warstwy i wieloznacznych metafor – przepływu, ruchomej drogi, ciągłej zmiany, odniesienia o nie „wchodzeniu do tej samej rzeki”, jak i straty tego co przeminęło. Dzieło umieszczone w przestrzeni niemodlińskiego zamku skłoni odbiorców do refleksji nad upływającym czasem i zachodzącymi zmianami, jak i nawiąże do tradycji rybołówstwa obecnej w Niemodlinie.

The work refers to the flow of time. It raises the issue of the impossibility of returning to certain things and situations that cannot be recreated, repeated, or restored. The sculpture presents an openwork, welded steel fish combining inspirations from nature and technology. Its form refers to aircraft structures and submarines. In the sculpture, one can find an extensive symbolic layer and ambiguous metaphors – flow, a moving road, constant change, reference to not „entering the same river”, as well as the loss of what has passed. The work placed in the space of Niemodlin Castle will encourage viewers to reflect on the passing of time and the changes taking place, as well as refer to the tradition of fishing present in Niemodlin.
