Artystka jest performerką i rzeźbiarką urodzoną w Seulu. Ukończyła studia licencjackie z rzeźby na Uniwersytecie Narodowym w Seulu oraz zdobyła tytuł magistra rzeźby i edukacji artystycznej w Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), uważanej za najlepszą akademię sztuk pięknych w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Mimo młodego wieku wystawiała się wielokrotnie, zarówno w Korei, Nowym Jorku, jak i w Tajlandii, czy w Polsce. Interesuje się rzeczami kruchymi lub nietrwałymi, które łatwo się psują i nie są trwałe. Obecnie największym tematem, który eksploruje, jest poczucie straty: utrata cennych wspomnień, utrata kierunku i utrata bioróżnorodności. Większość jej prac przybiera formę rzeźby performatywnej lub performansu rzeźbiarskiego, które z biegiem czasu ulegają zmianom.

The artist is a performer and sculptor born in Seoul. She received her BA in Sculpture from Seoul National University and her MFA in Sculpture and Art Education from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), considered the best fine arts school in the United States. Despite her young age, she has exhibited many times, both in Korea, New York, Thailand and Poland. He is interested in fragile or perishable things that break easily and do not last. Currently, the biggest topic she is exploring is the feeling of loss: loss of precious memories, loss of direction and loss of biodiversity. Most of her works take the form of performative sculpture or sculptural performance, that change over time.

Ten, który nie może żyć w teraźniejszości, przedstawia istotę odbiegającą od istniejących systemów społecznych. Istota ta zatraca się w procesie dekonstrukcji i rekonstrukcji swojej tożsamości poprzez cielesne przemiany. Wędruje na oślep, nieświadomy swego przeznaczenia, a ciężkie ręce i nogi utrudniają mu postęp. Pośród niezliczonych udręk i zmartwień stara się nie utknąć w stabilnym stanie. Nieustannie naprawia i mutuje swoje ciało w pożądanym kierunku, szukając formy odpowiadającej jego własnym standardom. Podobnie jak zamek, którego liczne przemiany następowały na przestrzeni wieków.

One who cannot live in the Present represents a being who deviates from existing social systems. This being loses himself in the process of deconstructing and reconstructing his identity through bodily transformations. He wanders blindly, unaware of his destiny, and his heavy arms and legs hinder his progress. Amidst countless torments and worries, he tries not to get stuck in a stable state. He constantly repairs and mutates his body in the desired direction, seeking a form that meets his own standards. Much like a castle that has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries.
